We want to extend our deepest thanks to Damon Cassidy for producing his latest video on the ghost job crisis. His work brings the issue back to where it belongs with the people being directly affected, not lost in statistics or hidden in corporate reports.

We are also grateful to the other interviewees who bravely shared their personal stories. It takes courage to speak openly about the frustration, wasted time, and emotional toll of applying to jobs that were never real in the first place.

This is exactly why the Truth in Job Advertising and Accountability Act (TJAAA) is so important. The TJAAA will:

  • End the harmful practice of ghost job postings.

  • Require employers to disclose real, time-bound, and funded opportunities.

  • Protect applicants’ privacy and data.

  • Hold companies accountable for misleading job seekers.
