Congressional Conversations Expand as TJAAA Petition Surpasses 4,000 Signatures
The Truth in Job Advertising and Accountability Act (TJAAA) petition has officially surpassed 4,000 signatures; a milestone made possible by thousands of workers, job seekers, and advocates who refuse to accept deception as a normal part of hiring.
In just the past week, the TJAAA Working Group has met with staff from the offices of:
Senator James Lankford (OK), Representative Nikema Williams (GA), Representative Eugene Vindman (VA), Representative Brad Sherman (CA), Representative Terri Sewell (AL), Representative Pablo José Hernández (PR), Representative Beth Van Duyne (TX), Representative Troy Downing (MT), Representative Monica De La Cruz (TX), Representative Henry Cuellar (TX), and Representative Tim Burchett (TN).
These meetings build upon earlier conversations with Senator Ruben Gallego (AZ), Senator Jack Reed (RI), Representative Debbie Dingell (MI), Representative Troy Carter (LA), Representative Gwen Moore (WI), Representative Maxwell Frost (FL), Representative Roger Williams (TX), Representative Alma Adams (NC), and Representative Keith Self (TX).
Every one of these discussions helps elevate the voices of job seekers demanding transparency and accountability in hiring.
If you are a constituent of any of the leaders listed above, please reach out to their offices and share your support for the TJAAA. Your voice carries weight — and now is the time to use it.
Together, we are transforming frustration into reform. Thank you for standing with us.
