A Post-Thanksgiving Message
As we move through Thanksgiving and into the holiday season, the TJAAA Working Group wants to express our deepest gratitude to all who’ve helped turn this grassroots idea into a national movement.
This year, tens of thousands of people stood with us by signing the petition, sharing your stories, donating to keep the effort alive, or simply spreading the word about the ghost-job epidemic that is hurting job seekers in every state.
To everyone currently searching for work: we see you, we hear you, and we know how difficult these months can be. The holiday season often brings a slowdown in hiring, which can amplify frustration and uncertainty, especially when so many job postings can’t be trusted at face value. But we want you to hold onto one important truth: historically, the strongest hiring surge of the year begins right after the New Year. January and February consistently bring renewed budgets, new headcount, and real opportunities.
Better days and better jobs are on the horizon.
As we close out the year, please know that you’re not alone. This community is growing because people like you refused to stay silent. Your courage, your persistence, and your belief in fairness are the driving forces behind this movement.
We’ll keep pushing, educating lawmakers, and demanding transparency, so that in the year ahead, every job seeker has a fair chance and every job posting reflects the truth.
From all of us at the TJAAA Working Group:
Thank you. Stay hopeful. Stay strong. We are standing with you.
